Les Halles de Paul Bocuse


 The grandpere of French cuisine, still alive, is Paul Bocuse, and in Lyon the gastronomic capital of France, his legacy is everywhere. Lyon is where Bocuse lives and works and the food market in town bears his name.

After our morning in old Lyon on Saturday, we had lunch, and then the purser called a taxi for us and off we went. 

The freshness, the variety, the absolute devotion to quality ingredients….

Scrreeeeeeeeecccccchhhhh……what’s this?

Just goes to show you there’s no accounting for taste, even in this temple to food!
