Roasty, Toasty

I love this time of year…all those awesome root vegetables to roast in the oven and use the residual heat to heat the house the teensy, eensy, little bit it needs at this time of year! ( yes, I know I used the same reference two times in one sentence…)

But I also like to roast off these little cuties!
Add a little balsamic syrup, some olive oil, and salt and pepper, they roast up nice and caramel-lee in about 40 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
